Observing that Bangladesh has all the treasures to emerge as the world's new tourist destination,  said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She also said a decision has been taken to celebrate the 2016 as Tourism Year' or Visit Bangladesh Year-2016 for further marketing of Bangladesh's tourism industry. Therefore Bangladesh government has given immense importance to overall development of the tourism industry such as tourist police for special security for the travelers, allowed quality hotels to import equipment and accessories without duty, and decided to introduce on arrival visas to nationals of over 60 countries. So many organizations from home and abroad, including national tourism organizations, airlines, tour operators and hotel and resort operators are working restlessly to attract travelers. The government aims to increase foreign tourist arrivals by 70 percent to 10 lakh by 2016 by undertaking a series of promotional activities .

You feel home when you live in Bangladesh. The people and the nature will help you to get actual flavor of Bangladesh. Happiness, for us, needs no reason.   We know how to celebrate the life we are given.

The peak tourism season in Bangladesh starts in November and lasts through March. However, the prolonged blockades and strikes since early January have already hit the sector hard.

There are many kinds of lifestyle of the people can be seen in Bangladesh — urban, rural and magnificent tribal life. Amidst the concrete jungle, the urban life follows a different direction than the rural life. The rural life has a much more strong relation with the nature. And, far from the maddening crowd, there are many tribal lifestyles can be noticed which are unique and vibrant in their own characteristics.
